You have completed a High School Diploma or equivalent. You may have also obtained an advanced degree in similar fields. You have worked in a directly related role for at least 16 years and are ready to join Framatome and help deliver clean, safe energy and advance nuclear technology.

You may have also acquired the following skills:

• Advanced knowledge of commonly used equipment, practices, and procedures. Phased Array UT Experience preferred.
  
• Strong written/ verbal skills; ability to effectively communicate with staff, management, vendors, and customers
  
• Ability to comprehend instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines required to perform assigned tasks
  
• Proficient in non-destructive evaluation (NDE) methodologies, especially ultrasonic testing
  
• Extensive knowledge of ASME code and nuclear industry regulatory requirements associated with NDE

Your Opportunity

This full-time role is about making an impact on people's lives and the future of clean energy. You will leverage your skills and experience to be part of an innovative team and make a difference for our customers. As an NDE Advanced Technician in Lynchburg, VA or Charlotte, NC (remote work will also be considered), you will be part of the proven team in the Nondestructive Examination Solutions Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your work will include:

• Help prepare for, and execute, projects at nuclear power plants in a level 3 or level 2 role as needed;
• Develop or review of scan plans;
• Overseeing and executing technique qualifications;
• Ensuring project deliverables satisfy code requirements; and
• Update or generate Technical Justifications and Procedures

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $53.00 - $68.27 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
