What You Will Do:

  • Provides manufacturing leadership and improvement focus for quality, engineering, supply chain, logistics and assembly/machining operations driving results, creating, and monitoring measures, providing motivation, setting expectations in safety, quality, production and cost
  • Ensure planned KPI's of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded
  • Direct planning and implementation of improvements to manufacturing processes
  • Leads the organization in developing annual budgets that support the operating plan; submits budgets to corporate for approval; manages the organization within budget guidelines in compliance with governing laws and regulations; provides timely, thorough, and accurate financial and operating information to assist corporate leadership team with decision making
  • Directs, coaches, and develops managers; sets goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
  • Creates annual operating plans that support strategic direction set by corporate and submits annual plans for approval; works with leadership to define the organization's vision and strategies to achieve that vision; develops and monitors strategies for ensuring the long-term financial viability of the organization
  • Directs the operations of the organization and manages the organization's compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Evaluates the organizational structure to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the organization; leads a culture of process improvement in all activities of the organization
  • Drives a culture of high ethical standards; champions the corporate code of ethics through word and actions
  • Knows, enforces and champions compliance with all safety policies and procedures
  • Develops future leadership of the company; selects, motivates, coaches and mentors assigned staff; assigns work according to availability, skills and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports
  • Achieves or exceeds business performance targets for areas of responsibility; manages profit and loss and asset utilization across the organization. Develops business plans based on the strategic goals set by business unit leadership; grows the business profitably
  • Through managers, implements operating policies and procedures across multiple functional areas
  • Serves as site leader by partnering with finance, human resources, sales and other departments to drive business results as a collective group
  • Anticipates, recognizes, facilitates, and coordinates the resolution of cross-functional challenges that may impact organizational success
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships. Achieves high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Translates long-term business strategy into long-term business goals for the organization
  • Champions continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
  • Develops, leads, and motivates Managers; sets goals in training and development, performance, and career planning
  • Develops high-functioning teams
  • Responsible for all aspects of operations, including maintenance, facilities, and all shifts
  • Communicates with customers, suppliers, shop floor, stakeholders, and staff
  • Leads annual operating plan, forecasts, and other measurements for area of responsibility
  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Four-year college or university degree in Business or related field or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence required
  • Ten plus years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Business leadership experience
  • Immigration sponsorship not offered for this role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent supplier and vendor management skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business or related field
  • Experience in metal manufacturing

  • Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited toshoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
