Director of Cont Improvement - Warehouse & Logistics

Summary

The Director of Continuous Improvement Warehouse and Logistics will direct and oversee all continuous improvement efforts to maximize our warehouses space and flow, optimize our facilities and staffing needs, leverage existing and new technologies in the logistics space, and work cross functionally with plants, engineering, and logistics leadership to drive costs down and efficiencies up.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to establish both short and long-term business objectives. Identify, develop, and manage strategic business relationships to enable implementation of the corporate growth strategy and new product development initiatives.
  • Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize warehousing strategies. Develop and implement protocols and practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of strategic initiatives.
  • Develop standards, KPI's and reporting mechanisms to ensure performance improvements.
  • Build relationships internally and externally to drive improved performance and establish best practices for warehouse optimization.
  • Have a robust internal knowledge base of existing technologies and understanding of industry trends and be on the forefront innovation in the warehouse space.
  • Partner with the engineering team on short- or long-term investments on warehousing infrastructure to ensure we are maximizing our capital dollars.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field. Master's Degree or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of management experience in Logistics, Engineering or Supply Chain.
  • Master communicator to be able to outline vision, implement strategy and sell to the broader organization
  • Experience, knowledge and proven success with a food or CPG company.
  • Obsession and passion for excellence!
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver with excellent business judgment.
  • A financial and analytical acumen with experience in setting strategy, leading transformational change and major project management. In addition, experienced in designing and improving business process to increase operational efficiency.

Compensation Range:$140,000.00-$210,000.00, plus bonus.
