Description

This position is responsible to ensure that the flow of production is met by working with the International, Domestic, and SPF departments to ensure they have the correct material for customer shipments. In addition, this position will assist with inventory controls, and proper storage of materials within the Starkey Global Distribution Center (GDC) in Plainfield, IN

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS



  • Prepare and bundle supplemental materials
  • Review shipping matrix stock
  • Check racking in production area to fulfill SPF orders
  • Distinguish correct accessories to include with charger configuration orders
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements



  • Education

    • High school or GED preferred but not required


  • Experience

    • Previous warehouse experience desired




Knowledge/ Technical Requirements



  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
  • Read and comprehend English
  • Basic math knowledge
  • Basic Microsoft office knowledge

WORK CONTEXT

Working Conditions



  • Standard warehouse conditions
  • Regular attendance and responsiveness to reasonable job-related directives as given by the
  • Noise and heat from machines and tape guns in work
  • Stand and move around throughout the day
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds


Equipment Operation



  • Normal warehouse equipment; scan and copier machine, mobile carts, tape guns, cutters, cardboard baler, step ladder, pallet jack, label printers, scanners, scales, carrier shipping system and shrink wrap.
