Academic Mentor for Student-Athletes Requisition ID: 2024-8347 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT-Logan Category: Athletics Position Type: Non-benefited (hourly) Part-Time Job Classification: Non-Benefited College: Athletics Department: Student Athlete Services Advertised Salary: $15 per hour for Undergraduate or $16 per hour for Graduate Overview The mentor is responsible for working with student - athletes who are experiencing academic difficulties and/or have newly matriculated to Utah State University. The mentor's role is to serve as a supportive resource for student-athletes and provide them with tools and resources to help them mitigate their identified challenges. Mentoring helps student-athletes learn fundamental academic success skills that can help them become more effective at self-regulating their own learning.
