Your Role

Atlas Copco Gas and Process Division is hiring an Aftermarket Communications Specialist.

At Atlas Copco Gas and Process, we help customers prepare for tomorrow by designing, building, and servicing turbocompressors, gas screw compressors, and turboexpanders for hydrocarbon processing, industrial gases, power generation, as well as new and emerging energy industries. We are a division of the Compressor Technique business area, headquartered in Cologne, Germany, with additional production centers in the United States, India, China and Korea.

The Aftermarket Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing and managing communication activities to promote the global and regional aftermarket services and products of the Gas and Process division of Atlas Copco. This role involves coordinating with various Aftermarket teams and creating engaging content and campaigns. Another main focus is to ensure that the brand message is consistently delivered across all channels, supporting customer engagement and driving business growth in the Aftermarket.

The Aftermarket Communications Specialist will be part of Gas and Process' divisional Marketing Communications team and will be based in the United States (Albany, NY or Houston TX) with a reporting line to the Marketing & Communications Manager for North and South America. This individual will be working closely with our Aftermarket business development, coordinating and implementing both global and regional aftermarket activities.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • You will plan and implement digital communication strategies to promote aftermarket services and products, including digital and print campaigns, marketing automation, content creation, media planning, and maintaining high-quality digital content for websites and social media.
  • You will identify and support the creation of digital white papers and success stories related to Gas and Process aftermarket products and services.
  • You will monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital communication strategies and make adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • You will participate in, support, and lead the creation of global Aftermarket marketing materials and activities for Gas and Process, coordinating with divisional or regional marketing functions (print, online, customer magazine, etc.).
  • You will assist customer-facing functions and aftermarket departments by providing presentations and supporting the creation of other relevant content and marketing materials (leaflets, PPTs, customer newsletters, website contact directories).
  • You will ensure consistency of brand messaging and alignment with overall Gas and Process marketing communications goals.

Collaboration and coordination:

  • You will work closely with relevant aftermarket teams and stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely distribution of information.
  • You will serve as a liaison between the Marcomms team and aftermarket departments to ensure alignment of communication efforts.
  • You will organize local and regional photo shoots, conduct interviews with co-workers, and create videos that support overall marketing goals.


To succeed, you will need

  • You hold a Bachelor degree in Marketing or Communications or similar/related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in marketing, cmmunications, or related field.
  • You have knowledge of digital marketing best practices.
  • You have at least a year of experience in content management systems, social media platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • You are willing to travel up to 30% of the year, including international travel.

  • The base salary for this position is $51,000 - $65,000 annually.
