HRmango is looking for a fully remote Business Development Representative / Sales Manager to work with a growing architectural and engineering firm here in the US. This will be an Independent Contractor / 1099 position. Lots of room for a flexible schedule. You must be in the US and a legal US citizen to be considered for this position. You will be working for a leading architectural and engineering firm specializing in prefabrication and modular design across various industries, including hotels, multifamily residential buildings, and light industrial facilities. Job Overview

You will be selling architectural and engineering services. We're looking for a driven and knowledgeable Sales & Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into the multifamily residential, industrial and commercial sectors. This role is perfect for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial individual who knows the construction and development industries and can leverage a strong book of business to drive growth. This remote position offers the freedom to work from anywhere in the U.S., with access to a talented marketing department and significant opportunities for earning through commission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand relationships with key developers and clients in the multifamily, industrial and other commercial building sectors.
  • Collaborate with our marketing and project teams to convert leads into closed deals.
  • Represent the company in the construction and development community, actively seeking opportunities to grow our client base.
  • Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining a high level of productivity and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within construction, engineering, or building services.
  • Proven ability to work with developers and a well-established book of business.
  • Strong knowledge of multifamily residential and light industrial construction markets.
  • High-energy, charismatic "sales personality" with a strategic mindset.
  • Comfortable working independently, managing schedules, and achieving targets without micromanagement.
  • Values-driven, with a strong commitment to humility, honesty, respect, and fun.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $90K-$100K+, plus a strong commission plan.
  • Structure: All employees operate as independent contractors, managing their own expenses.
