Job Summary



  • Design laser workstation systems from concept to final checkout plus documentation.
  • Interact with Project Managers and Customer.
  • Lead Mechanical Engineer on low complexity projects
  • Work cross functionally with Electrical/Software Engineers, Purchasing, and Manufacturing Technicians.


Essential Skills



  • Design and detail of main system components and assemblies(sheet metal and frames, plates)
  • Entry level tooling design/fixturing (machined component design)
  • Implementation of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
  • Proficient in the use of CAD Design (SolidWorks/other)
  • Design of pneumatic systems, schematics
  • Detail oriented
  • Effective communicator (written and oral)


Advanced Skills



  • Optics and Vision design
  • Structural and dynamic analysis
  • Experience in using CAD Management (SolidWorks EPDM)
  • Small part manipulation, alignment, and automation

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years experience
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications such as SolidWorks, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and comply with all laws and regulations.
