Bluehawk Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support an American multinational technology company that specializes in e-commerce, cloud computing and much more.

Project Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the prototyping and electrical development of a version one imaging solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, testing, and optimizing electronic boards for high-reliability applications such as automotive, aerospace, or long-life embedded systems. Expertise in Camera Serial Interface (CSI) and camera systems is required, along with experience managing environmental and operational requirements like high and low-temperature tolerance.

Responsibilities


  • Prototype and lead the electrical development of boards for a version one imaging solution.
  • Select and integrate extended reliability components suitable for harsh environments (e.g., high and low temperatures).
  • Design and optimize systems for automotive, aerospace, or long-life embedded applications.
  • Develop and verify camera systems, including Camera Serial Interface (CSI) configurations.
  • Perform design verification testing (DVT) to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Work with third-party vendors for schematic capture, stack-up design, and production support.
  • Provide guidance on high-speed processor integration and optimization.
  • Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure effective PCB design.

Required Skills & Experience


  • Proven experience in electrical engineering for high-reliability systems (automotive, aerospace, or long-life embedded).
  • Expertise in Camera Serial Interface (CSI) and camera system integration.
  • Strong understanding of PCB layout principles and design best practices.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB stack-up design.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors to verify and validate designs.
  • Knowledge of high-speed processor design and implementation.
  • Experience with design verification testing (DVT) and reliability testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively via email and virtual tools.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with extended reliability components and temperature-resilient designs.
  • Experience working in fast-paced prototyping environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendor relationships for development tasks.

Salary Range for this position: $113,000 - $125,500
