Senior Systems and Test Engineer

Assured Information Security (AIS) has an opening for a Senior Systems and Test Engineer! In this role, you'll lead the Testing and Systems engineering team for the SecureView product. This is a hybrid position with the ability to work onsite 3 days per week. *Relocation assistance available*

What You'll Do:

*Develop and oversee design, testing, release, and deployment for complex software/IT components

*Develop and oversee content for user manuals, training materials, proposals, test plans, and technical documentation

*Develop and oversee implementation and development of test automation infrastructure

*Identify, understand, and provide creative solutions to advance software performance

*Evaluate tasks and deliverables for technical quality, ensuring solutions are engineered in a sensible and maintainable fashion, and audit/verify the work of others

*Participate in design and architecture discussions

*Provide consultation to customers regarding testing approaches and practices

*Collaboratively develop and maintain the project roadmap with management

Education/Experience/Skillset Required:

*Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline and 8 years' experience in quality/test engineering, system engineering or networking installation and administration; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

*5 years of familiarity with Linux and/or Windows

*5 years knowledge of networking appliances

*Strong written and verbal communication skills

*Leadership skills

*IT infrastructure knowledge

*Networking knowledge & troubleshooting

*Penetration testing-preferred

*Previous experience with Cross Domain Solution (CDS) products-preferred

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret DoD security clearance

Travel Required: Ability to travel less than 10%, as needed

US Salary Range: $128,000 - $171,000
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
