Hear more from our team members about why UnityPoint Health is a great place to work at https://dayinthelife.unitypoint.org Overview Occupational Therapist- Inpatient Units UnityPoint Health- Fort Dodge FTE: 1.0 FTE (Full-time, 40 hours per week) Shifts: Monday -Friday 8a-4:30p, weekend and holiday rotations in Acute Care Responsibilities * Evaluates and treats occupational therapy patients under physician orders * Develops treatment plans for all patients assigned to case load * Maintains appropriate documentation in the patient's medical record * Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the occupational therapy department * Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family * Communicates effectively in writing and verbally with all appropriate members of the patient's healthcare team * Adheres to departmental and hospital policies and procedures Qualifications Education: Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy Experience: Entry level/new graduate acceptable License(s)/Certification(s): Occupational Therapy licensure in Iowa or eligible for licensure in Iowa Valid Iowa Drivers License Maintains Basic Life Support certification Refer to Stroke Service policy for annual stroke education requirements |
