POSITION SUMMARY:

Production support role to assist with diagnosis, disassembly, repair and reassemble of oil field equipment (Cementing, Stimulation, Pressure Control). This includes assisting in diagnosis, analysis and resolution of product failures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

But not limited to:



  • Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
  • Inspect machines, engines, transmission and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose hydraulic and pneumatic systems with the aid of engineering
  • support
  • Effective troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical control systems
  • Install, examine, replace or repair a variety of components ranging from mounts and guards to
  • hydraulic and electrical components
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, bills of material and work instructions as necessary to
  • perform each assigned task
  • Ability to read and interpret conventional and precision measuring instruments
  • Follows all company policies and procedures
  • Notifying management and quality of any trends that show repeated failures in parts or
  • procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years' experience working on Oil Field equipment, preferably from the Cementing, Stimulation or Pressure Control segments.
  • Professionalism, flexibility, critical thought process and creativity
  • Ability to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow.
  • Regular and reliable attendance


  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow appropriate dress code.


  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment, set priorities, and follow through with assigned tasks with limited supervision.
  • Must be able to work extra hours as needed to complete assignments or special projects.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Personal motivation for success
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • The performance of this position will require exposure to manufacturing areas that require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.
  • For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • Sitting, climbing, or standing as needed.
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by SERVA.
