Position Description



  • Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Design test scenarios to ensure maximum test coverage.
  • Record and document test results and report defects to the development team.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools.
  • Integrate the automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Design and execute performance tests to evaluate the software's responsiveness, scalability, and stability.
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve identified issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the quality of the delivered software.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.

Qualifications

Position Requirements


Experience & education:




  • Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree; OR appropriate combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or others commonly used in testing.
  • 3+ years proficiency with testing tools and frameworks, including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, etc.
  • 3+ years of software development lifecycle methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
  • 3+ years of experience in different types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing and security testing.



Languages



  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal





  • Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs)





  • Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration tools.



  • Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.



  • Ability to analyze requirements and system specifications to create effective test plans.



  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, often alongside developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.



  • Clear communication is essential for documenting test plans, reporting defects, and collaborating with developers and other team members.



  • Desirable: Travel and finance domain knowledge not mandatory but preferred



  • Sabre and Amadeus not mandatory but preferred

Because this position is directly with our United States Federal Government client, the United Sates government requires that the successful candidate be a US Citizen.
