GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Payroll Coordinator I audit time and attendance, and payroll records for large groups in a multi-state, multi-company environment. This position exercises basic knowledge of payroll regulations related to Federal, State and Local laws, company policies and best practices to ensure compliance. The Payroll Coordinator I works with other teams within the Payroll department and across the Village. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

TRAVEL AND TIME REQUIREMENTS Travel: N/A Work Schedule: Ability to flex schedule to support business need, including the ability to start between 6am and 7am regularly and work up to 5pm on payroll processing days. Nights/Weekends: Overtime up to 5% as needed and likely during year end and holidays. Language Skills Fluent in the written and verbal skills necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. Work Environment Level III - Moderate noise (e.g., business office with computers or printers, light traffic).
