Description This position will serve as a Per Diem Registered Nurse supporting the Brain and Body Health Program at UNC. This high-profile program provides comprehensive brain and body examination for players retired from professional football. It is available to a player every 5 years in support of their lifelong wellness. Our multi-disciplinary team completes an extensive evaluation during the three-day program, and the player returns to his own community, and care team, with diagnostic results and personalized recommendations intended to improve his ongoing wellbeing. Our team follows the player for a full year after their visit. We are seeking a per diem nurse who can bring a broad base of nursing knowledge and skills to our team. Epic Ambulatory experience is desired. The work will start as one day per week; Wednesdays, from 8 am to 4 pm, performing basic in-clinic patient care activities. A willingness to support additional days, and duties, is needed, as our program is growing.
