Job Description - General Plant Operator I-SGS We are currently seeking talented individuals for the position of General Plant Operator I at our power plant facilitylocatedin Springerville, AZ. The Springerville Generating Station operatesfour coal-fired units with a combined generating capacity of over 1600 megawatts of power. Although we will be retiring two of the units we operate and maintain at this facility by 2032, we continue to work together to generate safe, clean, reliable power to enhance our families, customers and communities. Position Description : This classification provides for vehicle and equipment operation for the Coal and Ash facility. Upon entry in to the classification, this employee should be able to perform the less complicated tasks. After training, practice and completion of all applicable safety courses in all levels of the classification, he/she will be examined at the end of the first six-month period to determine the employee's progress. This position may provide services to affiliates of the Company subject to the UNS Energy Code of Conduct and the related Policies and Procedures.
