POSITION SUMMARY:

International Employee Coordinator provides support to the Human Resources Department on all international personnel matters. They perform customer service functions and assists Vice- President of Human Resources and HR Manager. As international employees come and go at Sugarbush, they process international employee onboarding, day to day processes, and activities, and departure. Coordinator will draft and distribute employee communications and help plan and execute all facets of the Work & Travel program. Reports directly to the Vice- President of Human Resources, Risk & Safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Participate with onboarding of all international employees, and respond to requests for information. *
  • Assist the Vice- President of Human Resources, HR Manager, and Housing Manager with any international employee tasks and perform guest service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Respond as appropriate to inquiries by staff and managers.
  • Assist with student arrivals, and onboarding, coordinate trips to the Social Security office and Bank, prepare students for their first day of work.
  • Process mail and perform other clerical duties as needed.
  • Assist and check in with all resident assistants and assist in completing weekly housing checks.
  • Assist in planning and execution of all international cultural activities, including scheduling staff transportation.
  • Complete all assigned projects in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Respond to requests of Vice- President of Human Resources, HR Manager and Housing Manager.


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good multi-tasking and prioritizing abilities, a proactive, motivated work ethic and be capable of interacting with all Resort staff members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of company personnel, as well as job applicants, outside firms and government agencies.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a DMV background check.
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus but not required.
