Preferred / Desirable Qualifications:



  • Work requires moderate physical exertion.
  • Applicant must have exceptional interpersonal skills to facilitate customer service principles, practices and public relations.
  • May be asked to show coworkers how to perform assigned tasks.
  • Requires a high degree of accuracy and high attention to details as errors could influence operational effectiveness.
  • Must have prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Fast-paced environment including a high-volume workload of clerical duties that requires completion based on deadlines. May also be exposed to some undesirable characteristics.
  • Cultivate inclusive and respectful working relationships that support a sense of belonging for all employee and community members.
  • Must have intermediate grasp of reading and writing skills to complete assigned documents, reports or court forms.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality

The purpose of this position is to perform specialized duties in accordance with court policies and procedures, which involves considerable public contact and knowledge of court cases with judicial instructions. This is accomplished by performing a wide variety of duties including legal support, clerical, cash handling, data entry, and responding to and resolving customer inquiries. Other duties may include completing related tasks as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position will have: / Key Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and process a variety of cases including misdemeanor, civil traffic, parking violations and protective orders.
  • Perform a variety of computer data functions in the case management system including input of citations, long forms, public and government correspondence, motions.


  • Answering a high-volume call system while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Assisting the public while providing levels of departmental necessitated customer service at the front counter.
  • Perform clerical duties including but not limited to: typing correspondence, processing mail, collecting and posting fees and fines in the case management system.
