Job Description:Provides spiritual support to patients, families and staff on assigned units through the John Muir Health system. The Chaplain Resident fulfills the ACPE accredited program requirements. Education: Master's Degree Theological Studies - Preferred College Level Coursework CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education - One (1) unit - Preferred Experience: 1 year Healthcare - Spiritual Care - Preferred *and/or* Healthcare - Chaplaincy - Preferred *Additional Experience Requirements:* Experience in Hospital ministry - Preferred Certifications/Licensures: Ordination in Recognized Faith Group - Preferred and/or Faith Group Endorsement - Preferred Skills: Sensitivity to diverse religious and cultural practices and values. Maintains professional and personal integrity. Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) Basic Pastoral Skills. Demonstrates empath y and compassion. Reflects theologically. Work Shift:08.0 - 08:00 - 16:30 No Waive (United States of America) Pay Range: $23.00 - $23.00 Hourly Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area. Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
