UX Research Engineer

Description

TDI Technologies, Inc. (TDI) is seeking candidates for a User Experience Research Engineer position supporting US Navy data analytics and enterprise solutions. This position will work with program managers, software engineers, data scientists, and other engineers in the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division.

Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Provide planning, organizing and execution of interactive visual design
2. Perform user experience analytics, information design, and develop strategy for systems usability
3. Support efforts in visual communication and information literacy
4. Conduct user research ensuring programmatic goals are achieved
5. Identify, monitor, and help resolve risks and problems encountered by the team

Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Science or Engineering discipline
2. 1-2 years' experience in User Experience Research

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Successful applicants must either have an active government security clearance or the ability to receive approval upon position acceptance.
2. Must have a valid US passport or the ability to obtain one upon position acceptance.

3. Understanding of Information Architecture

7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
