Title: Clinical Research Coordinator At the Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research (SIBCR), scientists seek new ways to improve the health and well-being of Veterans through research and education conducted at the VA Puget Sound Health Care System (VAPSHCS). SIBCR's research spans a broad range of areas such as mental health; neuroscience; diabetes, endocrinology and nutrition; prosthetics; oncology; age-related diseases; and, pulmonary diseases. We are seeking a [Research Coordinator] for [Dr. Joe Smith] in the [Mental Health Service line]. Summary: The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will work as a key member on the MS-Cafe Study team. Additional information on this study can be found here: CAFE-MS (Confirmatory Trial for Alleviating Fatigue with Elevida in Multiple Sclerosis (MS)) | Accelerated Cure Project The MS-Cafe Study aims to improve fatigue management of MS patients within the VA healthcare system. The CRC will be responsible for managing study recruitment, local site budget, data collection, and regulatory submissions. Veterans may be recruited from the VA Puget Sound MS clinic as well as from a national cohort. No biospecimen sample collection will be involved with this study. This position will require an individual who understands the principles of scientific investigation and clinical trials, is capable of in-depth understanding of the study protocol and is able to make complex decisions independently. The candidate must possess strong scientific, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A BA/BS or higher is required, with a degree in a science-related field strongly recommended. This position is based in Seattle. This is a full-time, Monday - Friday, hybrid (Remote and In-office) position. Salary is based on the applicant's research experience and includes benefits.
