Sr. Program Manager Location: Hybrid The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading and managing large-scale, cross-functional programs, ensuring the successful delivery of complex technology initiatives on time, within budget, and according to specified requirements. First six to nine months of this role will be focused on systems integration/consolidation then moving into systems stack management. This role requires strong leadership, project management skills, and technical expertise to oversee several projects across multiple countries, coordinate resources located in different regions, strong cross-cultural communication skills, and problem-solving skills to ensure alignment between business goals and successful program execution. Key Responsibilities: Program Management
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology strategies.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and report on program status, ensuring the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related communication with business and technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define program goals and deliverables.
- Manage relationships with internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners involved in the program.
Cross-functional Team Management
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, technical, and operational teams to ensure alignment on goals and priorities.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving results through effective leadership and mentorship.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensuring they meet program milestones and deliverables.
Risk Management
- Proactively identify potential risks to the success of the program and ensure the development of appropriate mitigation plans.
- Lead problem-solving efforts, removing roadblocks and ensuring timely resolution of any program-related challenges.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve program delivery.
- Ensure that risks, issues, and changes are communicated to stakeholders effectively.
Process Improvement
- Advocate for and implement best practices, standard processes, and tools for program management across the organization.
- Implement and refine processes and methodologies for delivering IT programs efficiently.
- Monitor program performance and apply lessons learned to improve future projects.
Documentation and Reporting
- Ensure that all program documentation is created, maintained, and updated.
- Provide regular program status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure program success.
Budget and Resource Management
- Oversee program budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are allocated appropriately.
- Manage and track program expenditures, and report on financial performance to stakeholders.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management or program management.
- Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional IT systems programs.
- Strong technical background and understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
Skills
- Proficient in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A positive, "can-do" attitude
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Trello).
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., QuickBase, Salesforce, etc.)
Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent is preferred.
- ITIL, Scrum, or Agile certifications are beneficial.
