The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI) of the MINERALS Project, the incumbent will be responsible for providing broad administrative and programmatic support for the MINERALS Project at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) to ensure the smooth execution of administrative and programmatic activities. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the PI to coordinate the scientific activities of the MINERALS scientific team, to enhance the team's internal and external communications (including social media) to serve as the administrative point-of-contact for the MINERALS team within the Seismology, Geology, and Tectonophysics Division; and to plan seminars and workshops associated with this project. The incumbent will work with the team to design, implement, and maintain a mineral properties database for geophysical modeling developed as part of the MINERALS Project. Responsibilities
