System Engineer The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact on current and future combat and combat support tactical systems? Do you understand your customer's environment and how to integrate Commercial Off the Shelf (COTs) Information Technology (IT) solutions to help the customer develop the right systems for their mission? Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution. As a System Engineer on our team, you'll collaborate with product and program office technical engineers to adapt governmental hardware requirements into commercial IT hardware modifications for tactical systems. You will have the opportunity to work with other engineers to help define and identify commercial ruggedized solutions to tactical issues and conduct commerciality assessments to ensure the viability of selected solutions. Additionally, you will be integral in supporting hardware systems engineering and technical coordination for commercial information technology (IT) product technical insertions (TIs). Your journey will include cross-functional responsibilities, as well as learning the Independent Government Evaluation (IGE) process, technology evaluation, and Technical Insertion processes. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
