ABOUT THE ROLE:

Support new business activity by creating new business documents and preparing uploading new plan forms. Support existing business by providing plan amendment and fee change documentation. Serve as primary back-up and support for Compliance and various service teams.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:



  • Assist with client communication related to legislative changes, client specific topics as directed.
  • Support new business installation as directed.
  • Prepare adoption agreement draft, board resolution, retirement plan service agreement, confirmation of funds, and other agreements and/or documents necessary to establish and define ARB/client responsibilities.
  • Participate in annual Administrative Review process. Audit plan provisions, fee setup and plan documentation. Research and resolve exceptions as necessary.


WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:



  • 1+ year of technical retirement plan experience with all types of tax-qualified plans and proven proficiency in understanding and applying pension laws and regulations.
  • 3+ years' experience with 401(k) plans; actual experience in retirement plan underwriting or new case issuance is desirable.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good written/oral communication, organization, and client service skills required.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Work independently and set priorities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.

BASE SALARY RANGE:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
