Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking to hire an experienced QA Lead in support of the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN-A) Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) program located at Fort Huachuca, AZ.

Candidate must reside within a 90-mile radius of Ft. Huachuca, AZ, with the ability to come on-site as required. Will follow the same telework arrangements as their NETCOM Government counterparts.

In this role, you will:

    Be responsible for ensuring that all KPI's and performance requirements mandated in the PWS are fully met in terms of schedule, timeliness, and completeness
  • Ensure deliverables adhere to Government requirements
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction in supporting mission execution across the Enterprise
  • Tracking and measuring the successful delivery of capabilities and services to the enterprise within all required performance metrics
  • Provide direct input to management in support of monthly deliverables, status and program reviews
  • Implement new, strategic initiatives to improve engineering processes and business processes
  • Serve as the lead for ensuring the quality of work performed meets customer needs, expectations, and objectives
  • Serve as the primary POC / understanding of customer and stakeholder current and upcoming needs across the program and task areas,
  • Define the prioritization and sequencing of quality management initiatives & lead the execution of those activities
  • Own and lead discussions from both business and technical perspectives
  • Collaborate with Government service owner leads and stakeholders in project planning to establish quality metrics and review milestones
  • Oversee testing for compliance with established quality metrics
  • Lead a Continual Process Improvement program, for the continual evaluation of existing engineering and business processes and delivery outcomes compared to expected results; identifies and facilitates the implementation of all process improvements
  • Building/updating/briefing/presenting program metrics
  • Perform a variety of technical and administrative activities related to the function of QA (auditing), including, but not limited to, scheduling, checklist development, report writing, facilitating root cause/lessons learned analysis, and internal/external presentations
  • Track and escalate unresolved non-compliance issues and corrective and preventative action plans to closure


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience, in a quality assurance position
  • Minimum 5+ years of baseline QA/MA experience across a large-scale enterprise Information Technology (IT) program
  • Experience supporting QA initiatives as appropriate
  • Experience guiding working groups and teams for Milestone Reviews, Configuration Management, etc.
  • Experience preparing/conducting presentations and making recommendations
  • Experience providing status updates to System Owners and leadership
  • Experience providing monthly status report to reflect the activities accomplished, issues, and path forward
  • Experience with experience with and been directly involved in implementing the following frameworks: ISO 20000 and 27001, ISO 9001:2008, CMMI-DEV/CMMI-SVC Level 3, and ITIL
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Requires ITILv4 Foundation Certification
  • Ability to travel as required (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active SECRET Security clearance
  • Ability to obtain a higher security clearance if required (TOP Secret/SCI)

Desired:

  • Master's degree in Quality Assurance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in identification, baselining, maintaining, and controlling changes to IT enterprise assets desired
  • One or more Industry certifications in Quality Management (e.g., American Society for Quality (ASQ), Lean Six Sigma (LSS)
  • Agile certification (e.g., SAFe, Kanban, Scrum, etc.)
  • Expert knowledge and experience with statistical methods and tools (e.g., Minitab)
  • ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy)
  • Experience supporting a DoD Army customer

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
