Job Summary
The Cybersecurity Administrator safeguards the organization's cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments by implementing robust security solutions and processes designed to identify, detect, respond to, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Primary Objectives
  • Conduct and document comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and analysis.
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate policies, procedures, action plans, and related cybersecurity documentation.
  • Oversee and manage enterprise-wide cybersecurity training and awareness programs, ensuring compliance tracking.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Address security incidents promptly and lead the analysis and remediation efforts.
  • Oversee, coordinate, and evaluate contingency and incident response activities.
  • Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity exercises, inspections, and audits for the organization.
  • Administer and sustain enterprise-level cybersecurity products and solutions.
  • Administer and sustain a comprehensive enterprise vulnerability management program.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud, on-premises, and hybrid systems to identify intrusions and intrusion attempts.
  • Install, test, and monitor patches on servers, workstations, mobile devices, laptops, network equipment, etc.
  • Make tactical recommendations to improve security practices or minimize weaknesses.
  • Investigate and evaluate current and emerging solutions to enhance the enterprise security posture.
  • Support all users in understanding and utilizing security products and procedures.
  • Document, record, and report on cyber threat intelligence from law enforcement and industry sources.
  • Conduct network, systems, and cloud administration and analysis with a focus on security.
  • Conduct daily security monitoring to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
  • Review system, application, audit, and sign-in logs to identify and document security incidents and anomalies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of coursework and experience in a directly related field. required
Licenses and Certifications
  • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required
  • (ISC)2, GIAC, ISACA, or similar certifications preferred
Work Experience
  • 3+ years experience in a cybersecurity or related role, with responsibilities encompassing system and network monitoring and analysis. required
  • 5+ years experience in administering and troubleshooting enterprise datacenter systems and cloud environments. required
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong understanding of principles and practices relating to cybersecurity, compliance, and auditing.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, materials, and knowledge bases.
  • Ability to identify complex problems and use logic and reasoning to review related information to develop and evaluate options, conclusions, and implement solutions.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet critical deadlines.
  • Proven excellence in written communication, along with strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibits capability to uphold confidentiality with utmost tact and discretion.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including: * Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio: Intermediate level of expertise * Outlook: Advanced level of expertise

Working Environment
This role requires work that may involve the following environmental conditions:
  • Corporate office environment
  • Vessel and terminal environment - includes moving, shifting surfaces, and active production areas including moving vehicles, equipment, and machinery.
  • Outdoor/open environments which may involve high/low temperatures, humidity and inclement weather conditions.
  • Work days and hours may vary to accommodate operations.
  • Work schedule may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Moderate to high levels of noise.
  • Vessel environment - moving/shifting surfaces.
  • Low light conditions.
Travel
Occasional Must be able to travel independently to U.S. locations including Hawaii.

Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.
Zone 1: Starting rate $110,000; up to $130,000 for highly qualified candidates
