The Line Maintenance Technician conducts line upgrades, troubleshoots, handles repairs and preventative maintenance service. The Line Maintenance Technician will also maintain scheduled preventative maintenance on equipment, pumps, motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, and conveyor systems and is responsible for general warehouse building maintenance and repair. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical School Education related to maintenance is highly desirable Experience and/or Training:

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: Employee must have the ability to lift/carry up to 70 pounds occasionally and push/pull drums weighing up to 400 lbs. occasionally. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or use hands, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand, and/or walk and climb staircases frequently. Employees may be subject to random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations. Employee should have the ability to work flexible hours or weekends, as business needs dictate. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work performed in a warehouse environment and extreme heat (>80 degrees) during summer months. Employee may work at different workstations as production needs require, or shift from one station to another, during the production process. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - safety eye glasses and safety steel-toe shoes are required. Work hazards - Safety concerns to include heavy products, light and heavy-duty machinery, forklifts, working in a congested and high activity warehouse.
