LSSI is hiring a part-timeCase-Aide. The Case Aide (Next Steps) position will beresponsible for assisting clinical staff in providing services to Elgin Residential Rehabilitation clients, including monitoring the milieu, observing clients during medication times, and documentation. Provide supportive coverage to Elgin Healthy Start Recovery Home, as needed.
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am-4:00pm

Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate with Elgin Residential Rehabilitation team members, other LSSI programs, and external partners in order to provide quality, whole-person care and services to Elgin Residential Rehabilitation clients.
  • Make client referrals and linkages.
  • Maintain an encouraging and therapeutic environment on the unit.
  • Monitor milieu and assist clinical staff, including communicating any changes in a client's presentation or needs to a member of the clinical staff.
  • Complete all required EHR documentation in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with Emergency Procedures.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
Position Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Annual TB test required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in substance use field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in EHR documentation and review required.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Occasional driving may be required.
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing for the state of residency.
