SUMMARY

Savvas Learning company is seeking a Senior Accountant. This position will report to the Accounting Director.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work directly with 3rd party locations to reconcile inventory balances, review activity reports, and research variances.

* Assist with the coordination and reconciliation of physical inventories as needed.

* Prepare monthly account analysis and reporting metrics.

* Work with external auditors

* Assist with the close process.

* Complete special projects and ad hoc requests

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

* 5 or more years of Accounting, Finance, and/or Audit experience.

* Inventory experience.

* Strong Excel and Access skills required.

* CPA a plus.

* Knowledge of SAP a plus.

OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES

* Experience in Inventory accounting with a solid understanding of internal controls.

* Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

* Advanced PC skills (knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access is required. SAP is a plus).

* Organized and able to manage shifting priorities in a high volume environment with tight deliverables.
