As a Field Application Engineer based in California (or surrounding area) you will have responsibility for pre and post-sales support for RF and Microwave test and measurement products.

Key Responsibilities include:



  • Demonstration of Vector Network Analyzers and associated applications
  • Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Vector Network Analyzers.
  • Demonstration of Spectrum and Signal Analyzers and associated applications.
  • Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Spectrum and Signal Analyzers.
  • Demonstration of Signal Generators, Power Meters, signal monitors and associated applications.
  • Customer and Sales training in theory and operation of Signal Generators, Power Meters, signal monitors and associated applications.
  • Pre-sales and Post-sales support for customer applications including on-site and remote support.
  • Reporting to the Field Applications Engineering Manager based in Dallas, Texas


Requirements:



  • Minimum BSEE or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years related industry experience.
  • Due to customer visits, the candidate must be a U.S Citizen.
  • Extensive background in RF and Microwave test and measurement.
  • Expertise in the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters.
  • Experience with digital modulation and physical layer test of wireless systems is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel. Territory to include California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Hawaii and some travel to the northeast.


In order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:



  • Must have good communication and presentation skills.


The annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
