JOB TITLE: Marketing Communications Specialist- Digital

JOB SUMMARY

Supports and executes North America's marketing communications strategy with a strong focus on social media and managing comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. Develops and implements engaging content strategies, oversees social media presence, and creates compelling multimedia content from trade shows and industry events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES



  • Support development and execution of communications plans to enable successful go-to-market and promotional strategies
  • Actively provides status updates through the project's completion, anticipates delays and drives towards on time completion
  • Develops and executes comprehensive social media strategies across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Creates and manages content calendars, overseeing the planning, writing, creation, and scheduling of social media content using enterprise social media management tools.
  • Analyzes social media metrics and provides regular performance reports, making data-driven recommendations to optimize content strategy and engagement.
  • Works closely with corporate communications, legal, regulatory, and business area marketing teams to successfully identify business opportunities, support tools, and new marketing programs in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Provides direction on the design and implementation of social media materials to ensure brand and messaging consistency.
  • Prioritize projects, ensure timely follow-through, and drive business decisions to enable successful project execution. Reports program status regularly, makes recommendations and drives business decisions/actions to ensure successful project execution and follow-through.
  • Implement projects, working cross-functionally with various departments including Product Development, Marketing, Corporate, Quality, Regulatory, Law, etc.
  • Within social media strategies, identify key performance indicators and report on these proactively and on time, and identify opportunities and challenges impacting future efforts
  • Provides social media and video training and guidance to internal stakeholders and manages the review and approval process for social content.
  • Actively monitor digital platforms and discussions for commercial and social opportunities to engage with aligned with our business strategies



MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education

Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.

Experience



  • 2+ years of experience in marketing communications, with a focus on social media
  • Proficient in social media platform management and using social media tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Skills



  • Ability to multitask, set priorities, and deliver projects on time.
  • Demonstrated competency in social media platform management (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
  • Strong content creation abilities, including photography, basic video editing, and graphic design skills for social media.
  • A high energy level.
  • Creates engaging content for trade shows and conferences, including producing multimedia (e.g. videos, photos) and identifying and interviewing subject matter experts. Project management and prioritization skills to oversee multiple marketing initiatives. Ability to develop a social media campaign, translate marketing needs into social media strategies and content plans, implement campaigns across platforms, tracking performance metrics.
  • Knowledge of sales/marketing strategic planning and program delivery.
  • Proven analytical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems and develop programs with creativity and good judgment.
  • Strongability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand scientific facts and package them into a cohesive communication model for customers and sales personnel.
  • Knowledge necessary to work in Microsoft applications, interfaces, and databases.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Typical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Additional Physical Requirements

Travel required to attend 4-6 trade shows per year for onsite marketing support, or roughly 15-20% travel.

Target Pay Range:$79,900.00to$99,900.00 -Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data

Target Bonus on Base:7.0%
