The Recruiter coordinates recruitment activities for assigned areas of service including pre-screening, interviewing, scheduling, testing, and referring qualified candidates to hiring managers. Collaborates with HR leadership, department leaders, and/or peers to develop and monitor recruiting plans and strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Provides guidance and understanding of Lee Health recruitment and selection policies, procedures and employment laws to candidates and hiring managers. Actively participates in recruiting events, candidate data-base searches, promotional campaigns, job fairs/conferences and other programs to source, promote and attract the best-qualified candidates. Delegates tasks or assignments to Recruitment Assistants regarding candidate management, recruitment efforts, scheduling interviews, or other related duties. Serves as liaison between employment agencies/search firms and hiring departments. Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

Associate degree required. (Bachelors degree preferred).

Experience:

Minimum one-year related experience in Recruitment, HR generalist or human resource related experience with experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Other:

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, be flexible, creative, and innovative and be able to promote and sell Lee Health to potential candidates. Some travel required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret recruitment data, business periodicals, procedures, or governmental regulations. Must have the ability to effectively negotiate, communicate, and present information and respond to questions from clients (hiring managers, candidates, key executive stakeholders). Knowledge of federal and state employment laws. Experience and proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel PowerPoint, Internet).
