This position will involve presenting high-quality emergency service and industrial safety programs for the Center. These programs may take place both on-site and at off-site locations. Major Job Duties: Delivering emergency service and industrial safety training programs in accordance with established curriculum and guidelines. Managing the operation and condition of all utilized training equipment, training props, and facilities. Organizing instructor transportation and ensuring that all course materials and audio-visual equipment are prepared and functional. Ensuring the return of all issued materials and equipment in the same condition as received. Must complete all required paperwork in line with departmental procedures and Chapter 335 of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Minimum Qualifications: PA State Fire Academy Approved Instructor NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor 1 NFPA 1041 Fire Service Instructor 2 Clearances Required: PA State Police Criminal Background Check PA Child Abuse History Clearance FBI Fingerprint Clearance These programs may be conducted on-site and at off-site locations. Positions are assigned to classes, which may occur during the day, night, or weekends, based on the class schedule.
