The PMO Business Analyst is a key contributor to the success of our projects. Is responsible for holding requirements elicitation sessions with project stakeholders; documenting requirements; and challenging where necessary to make sure stakeholders are considering all aspects of their requirements. They will update requirements as things change and are key contributors to project change management. To help demonstrate and communicate requirements they will do process mapping, wire frames or other drawings, and create Business Requirements Documentation or write user stories including acceptance criteria. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

* Soliciting, anticipating, and gathering business requirements while also uncovering areas for improvement.

* Performing requirements analysis.

* Working with developers to implement impactful business solutions.

* Documenting and evaluating business processes for technical analysis.

* Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.

* Documenting and communicating requirement gathering session outcomes.

* Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports summaries and updates.

* Partnering with project managers or scrum masters for any project-related efforts to ensure requirements are within project scope and are used for a thorough testing cycle.

* Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.

* Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.

* Serving as a liaison between IT and stakeholders and as a key player with partner teams across the company, working to align interests.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

* Established Banking Systems process knowledge and technical skills.

* The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.

* Excellent documentation skills.

* Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

* Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.

* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Experience with Jira ticketing system is a plus.

Industry and Work Experience:

* 3 years of experience with SDLC methodologies required.

* IIBA CBAP preferred.

* Experience in IT and Banking projects highly preferred.

Academic:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field required.
