Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor (CSS), perform lead worker duties by facilitating the work of Custodians and LTEs. Assist the CSS in developing custodial objectives and the tasks required to achieve them. Implement work plans as directed by the CSS. Inspect work, provide training and instruction on proper cleaning methods, and ensure the safe operation of all equipment. Remove faulty equipment from service, arrange for repairs, order supplies, and perform assigned custodial tasks such as operating various floor machines, general cleaning duties, and snow removal. Responsibilities: Cleans institutional facilities, removes waste and recycling, and monitors building security to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas. Leads the custodial work of others and responds to custodial emergencies.
