ProHealth Care is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our exceptional team, replacing a retiring physician in our state-of-the-art practice. With a collaborative and innovative approach to cancer care, our team is dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes for patients in the Milwaukee metropolitan area.

About Our Practice

Comprehensive Care: Our practice includes one freestanding main center (Pewaukee, WI) and three not-for-profit hospitals (Waukesha, Oconomowoc, and Mukwonago).

Patient Volume: We treat over 80 patients daily and are positioned for continued growth.

Cutting-Edge Technology:



  • 4 linear accelerators, including 2 True Beam accelerators (soon adding a third to replace the iX) and a Vital Beam.
  • Advanced capabilities such as respiratory gating, DIBH, 4D CBCT, wide-bore CT with gating & contrast, Variseed, HDR, HyperArc, AutoContouring, SRS/SBRT, Eclipse, and Aria.
  • Access to PET-CT and 3T MRI for enhanced diagnostics.



Exceptional Team: Our staff includes board-certified professionals-2 physicists, 4 dosimetrists, 6 nurses, 2 department assistants, a supervisor, and 12 therapists-ensuring comprehensive support.

Cancer Program Highlights

Partnership with UW Health: Providing integrated care in our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Center.

Multi-Disciplinary Collaboration: Active tumor boards with specialists in medical oncology, surgical oncology, GYN oncology, urology, neurosurgery, and thoracic oncology.

Research & Accreditation: Participation in RTOG, NSABP, and ECOG research programs. Recognized with accreditations including COC, NAPBC, and QOPI certification.

What You Will Do:

As a Radiation Oncology Physician at ProHealth Care, you will:



  • Provide patient consultation by discussing treatment options with the patient, explaining potential benefits and risks and addressing concerns.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the patient's specific cancer type, tumor location and overall health.
  • Oversee the delivery of radiation treatments by working with radiation therapists.
  • Monitor the patient's progress with regards to response to treatment, side effect management and adjustments to the plan as needed.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.



Qualifications



  • M.D. or D.O. graduate.
  • Board certified/eligible in Radiation Oncology.
  • Licensed by the State Medical Board.
  • Passionate about patient care and collaborative teamwork.
  • Committed to advancing cancer treatment through innovation and excellence.
