Spring Harbor Hospital located in Westbrook, ME is seekingan Inpatient Psychiatric AdultNurse Manager to join their team of medical professionals!

This facility offers a variety of mental health services as listed below:

* Behavioral problems

* Opiate dependency

* Alcohol and drug abuse

* Depression

* Anxiety

* Mental instability

Strong leadership and communication skills will be important as the Psych Nurse Manager will ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Summary:

The Nurse Manager assists the Director in the coordination, supervision, and management of all personnel and patient care activities of the unit and in the successful operation of the hospital and network at large.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Nursing program required. RNC preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Licensed as a registered professional nurse by the Maine State Board of Nursing required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of psychiatric nursing or comparable experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrate expertise in clinical practice and judgment.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
