Position Summary The laboratory of Dr. Taylor at the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center is looking to hire two Non-Student Short-Term Casuals. Responsibilities The Non-Student Short-Term Casual (Research Support) will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, particularly working closely with a post-doctoral fellow or graduate student in the laboratory: Duties Testing drug treatments on cell lines Molecular biology experiments Tissue culture work Genetic studies Electronic and physical record keeping of all work Perform other duties as required/assigned Minimum Qualifications Highschool Diploma Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Veteran Columbia University is committed to the hiring of qualified local residents.
