Lead cross-functional teams in implementing, supporting, and enhancing development functions for enterprise business applications (e.g., SAP, ERP, OpenText). Apply a strong analytical mindset and deep understanding of IT systems and business operations to analyze business processes, identify system requirements, and implement technology solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity. Oversee the most complex or high profile/high impact implementations, ensuring successful integration and alignment with business objectives.

Job Duties and Responsibilities



  • Function as the technical lead in the analysis, design, development, documentation, performance testing, and implementation of technical business solutions
  • Manage and balance multiple high-priority projects, including those with enterprise-wide impact. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Oversee cross-functional teams and ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide high-level support for critical systems, addressing complex issues
  • Lead the planning and execution for significant updates or migrations
  • Lead the process of gathering and documenting complex business requirements, translating them into detailed functional and technical design specifications, and converting them into technical solutions that can be implemented and supported
  • Lead enterprise-level data analysis initiatives, providing insights that drive strategic decisions. Perform cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to aid management in making implementation decisions
  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes and systems in operating systems across the organization
  • Keep current with all functionality to ensure that the business is maximizing the most efficient use of the software integrating with all other functional systems
  • Perform deep, comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems to identify transformative opportunities; provide innovation in business process optimization
  • Ensure all user documentation and training materials are current utilizing all available technology tools
  • Champion best practices that support business requirements and deliverables using approved DFA development and change control methodology. Follow approved DFA project management and governance standards

Education and Experience



  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, information technology, or related curriculum (or equivalent combination of experience and education)
  • 8 or more years of business systems analysis, information technology, or related experience
  • Project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • Experience with the following systems and/or computer languages:

    • JDE E1, specifically transportation


  • Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

  • Advanced proficiency with requirements gathering, system analysis, and project management
  • Advanced understanding of the system/application(s) supported and related master data
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency with advanced data analysis tools and ERP systems
  • Able to consider both strategic and practical implications for proposed course of action
  • Able to communicate and translate complex technical topics into easy-to-understand concepts
  • Able to demonstrate written and verbal communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate with business users, stakeholders, technical teams, senior management, and senior leadership
  • Able to listen and communicate in a clear and concise manner, along with the ability to recognize the audience and tailor communications accordingly
  • Able to work independently and effectively in a team environment
  • Able to manage multiple various projects and bring them to successful completion
  • Able to organize time and resources effectively to achieve goals (i.e., organizational skills)
  • Able to demonstrate strong customer service orientation
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English
