JR Environmental Scientist/Geologist Overview: FPM Remediations, Inc. is currently seeking to fill a full time Junior Environmental Scientist/Geologist position at its Oneida, NY office. This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join a team of dedicated, knowledgeable, and experienced environmental professionals. This position will provide an opportunity to learn and apply the latest technologies to conduct field investigations and remediate contaminated sites across the country for our clients. Primary Responsibilities:The position will support fieldwork at locations around the United States.

None Security Clearance:Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government administered investigation Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Extensive travel to field sites required > 80% travel initially. Upwards of 40-60% travel after gaining appropriate level of field experience. Fieldwork involves performing physically demanding tasks and working 10-hour days (typically five (5) 10-hour days per week), potentially in adverse field conditions (cold, hot, high wind, dusty environment, rough terrain) in remote locations. Work Environment:General office and field work environment. Wage:Hiring Salary Range : $40 - $45 K ( salary rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)
