Description Essential Functions: Includes the following (other duties may be documented and assigned by local management and some duties may not apply dependent upon the requirements of the position at each specific (HIAMS)AM site and/or the strengths of the employee and the needs of the company):
- Open and close factory securely and safely.
- Start / stop / operate facilities, utilities.
- Maintain all facility assets, systems, structures and grounds in a safe, professional, workmanlike manner.
- Perform equipment emergency or breakdown repairs as instructed.
- Perform preventative and predictive related maintenance procedures as instructed.
- Identify, report and correct equipment deficiencies.
- Identify and report, equipment safety and/ or environmental related deficiencies.
- Relocation ,fabrication, modification and / or repair of new or existing assets to meet the desired intent of the company.
- Conducts all duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements and complies with these requirements.
- Completes documentation as required by the organization.
- Housekeeping and 5S responsibilities as directed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Possess ability to perform duties utilizing current company software applications.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills required.
- This position performs job duties in an ethical and professional manner.

- Strong knowledge and experience with electrical / electronic circuits, sensors, and other control systems, 480, 3 phase, 208, 120 volt power systems.
- Strong knowledge in the use of electrical meters, electrical schematics, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge, operations and repair experience with pneumatic circuits.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment safety requirements and systems.
- Ability to operate forklifts, booms and scissor lifts.
- Must be team orientated.
- Prefer individuals with a formal technical education in electrical, HVAC, pipe fitting.
- Prefer individuals with basic construction knowledge.
- Drywall , painting, metal framing.
- Prefer individual with a minimum of 2 years industrial facilities maintenance.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or Associates Degree preferred. Experience: Less than 3 years prior related experience preferred. *Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities may be possible to perform the job duties as designated by area management. Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work 40 - 60 hours per week, including weekends and holiday work. Overhead work and working at heights when necessary. Travel: Minimal domestic travel may be required as needed. Work Environment: Working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to office and laboratory areas.
