Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Program Oversight and Governance:

  • Support oversight for multiple infrastructure programs and projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget constraints, align with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Support successful delivery of infrastructure programs and projects by managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Monitor progress, track key issues, and manage risks to keep programs on track.
  • Establish and enforce standards, and methodologies for program management.
  • Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure full visibility.
  • Help maintain template standards for consistent reporting.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure programs and ensure financial oversight.
  • Project future IT expenses based on current trends, upcoming needs, and planned initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure IT investments support overall business objective.
  • Develop a contingency plan to handle unforeseen technology-related challenges.
  • Reallocate funds as necessary to stay on track with financial goals.

Resource & Team Management:

  • Lead a team of infrastructure project managers, and support staff.
  • Provide guidance, and support to ensure effective team performance.
  • Oversee resource allocation across programs, ensuring optimal use of personnel, technology, and financial resources.
  • Make decisions on resource allocation and prioritize investments based on organizational needs.

Stakeholder Communication and Management:

  • Act as a point of contact for key stakeholders, including senior executives, department heads, and external partners.
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Vendor Management:

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and other service providers.
  • Assist with reviewing and finalizing contracts with Procurement, GDPR & Legal teams.
  • Tracking vendor activities against the planned schedule/cost/scope.
  • Assist with onboarding & offboarding vendor resources.

Process Management & Improvement:

  • Facilitate sourcing (RFx), Contract Life Cycle (CLM), Procurement (requisition to payment)
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures related to IT infrastructure management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve program management processes and performance.
  • Continuously assess and enhance current processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Perform ROI analysis for investment approvals and track success.
  • Develop and implement metrics and KPIs to measure the success and performance of infrastructure programs.
  • Identify potential project delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on program progress, performance, and outcomes.

Financial Monitoring & Cost Optimization:

  • Track Expenditures: Continuously monitor spending against the approved budget. Use financial tracking tools and systems to record and review expenditures.
  • Analyze Variances: Identify and investigate variances between actual spending and budgeted amounts. Determine the causes and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement Controls: Establish financial controls to prevent unauthorized or unnecessary spending. Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Optimize Spending: Look for opportunities to reduce costs and increase efficiency without compromising quality.

FinOps

  • Monitor and manage cloud spending.
  • Partner with cloud teams to identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and manage budgets for cloud services, and create forecasts based on usage trends.
  • Regularly review processes and practices to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Communicate financial insights and strategies to leadership and other departments.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, CSM, ITIL, Six Sigma etc.
  • Proven deep experience (15+ years) in IT Infrastructure Program Management, Budget Management, Vendor Management, Resource Management.
  • Experience overseeing large-scale infrastructure projects involving hardware, software, network, cloud, or data center environments
  • Experience in Project Management Tools like JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, MPP etc.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP, ReadSoft, SRM) for tracking and reporting financial data
  • Good understanding of Cloud Services Billing (AWS Billing Console)
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Due to the global nature of this role, a valid passport and availability to travel is required to other Eisai locations included but not limited to EMEA, Americas, Japan, and APAC. Travel time is expected to be limited up to 15% per year.
