Job Description

Summary:

The Manager, Business Unit Sales & Strategy - Operations for the Hydration & Desserts Business Unit plays a critical role within the BU Sales & Strategy (BUSS) team, ensuring seamless execution of BU priorities and aligning operational activities to support business objectives. This role serves as a key liaison between BU sales, operations, supply chain, and field sales teams, focusing on service prioritization, resource management, and flawless execution of strategic initiatives. The Manager is responsible for optimizing the allocation process, merchandising display execution, managing seasonal builds, and driving innovation and reset volume. By fostering strong cross-functional partnerships, this role ensures that the BU meets its goals and delivers superior service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with field sales teams to ensure effective execution of business priorities, including seasonal builds, merchandising displays, and innovation launches. Act as a voice for the field within the Business Unit, ensuring their needs and challenges are addressed.

  • Advocate for field sales requirements when working with BU on innovation, merchandising, allocation, and display strategies. Ensure alignment between BU initiatives and field execution capabilities.

  • Work in partnership with Demand Planning and the BUSS team to develop and refine sales planning processes, ensuring alignment with field teams and overall business objectives.

  • Proactively identify and address issues related to shipment volumes. Develop and implement processes to mitigate potential disruptions, ensuring smooth delivery to customers and maintaining high service levels.

  • Utilize shipment and consumption data to monitor business performance. Provide regular updates and insights to leadership, highlighting trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

  • Lead preparation efforts for new product launches, including tracking progress, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.

  • Design and implement processes to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency. Continuously seek opportunities for optimization and drive improvements in execution.

  • Manage proactive communication with the field sales teams, ensuring they are informed about service issues, prioritization actions, and overall business strategies. Foster a collaborative environment to drive collective success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience; prior experience in operations or sales preferred

  • Excellent analytical/problem-solving capability with solid understanding of syndicated and panel data

  • Ability to lead cross functional teams, handle simultaneous projects, and deliver within agreed upon time frames

  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills with an expertise in organizational and project management skills

  • Proficiency in Excel & Power Point required

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$102,100.00 - $127,600.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
