This is a third-shift position supporting the Grand Rapids hospitals.

Schedule is as follows:

  • Monday - 11:30pm-10:00am
  • Tuesday - 11:30pm-10:00am
  • Wednesday - 11:30pm-10:00am
  • Thursday - 11:30pm-10:00am
Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, communicates and works together with customers to configure, install, preventatively maintain, improve, and troubleshoot client technologies, their systems and integrations that optimize the end user experience. As the point of contact for problem coordination and resolution, demonstrates customer service skills, empathy, and urgency. Serves as resource on technology projects and initiatives. Documents problems and resolutions and escalates appropriately, when necessary. May perform end-user training. Participates in the testing and evaluation of new client technology solutions. Competent to work on most types of client technologies within a diverse customer portfolio, but at times requires guidance from others. Capable of working independently.

Essential Functions
  • Under minimal supervision, working with and for the customers, responsible for the installation, replacement, repair and support of client technology and their systems.
  • Knowledgeable about the systems used within assigned areas of responsibility, providing troubleshooting and documentation for technology requirements and workflows, while ensuring alignment with Digital Services (DS) architectural standards. Serves as primary point of contact for problem identification and helps drive issue resolution.
  • Performs event correlation/log analysis, failure analysis/reporting and root cause analysis.
  • Serves as resource on technology projects and may take part in end-user training.
  • Participates in the testing of new client technology solutions and medical equipment and provides constructive feedback throughout the process.
Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Able to work independently and is self-motivated
  • Must have reliable transportation to facilitate travel between hospitals

Preferred

  • Associate's Degree /Technical school or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Client technology support experience
  • CRT - Microsoft A+
