Make a Difference in Your Community - Bus Driver Opportunity at Buehler YMCA!

You'll transport children and/or adults for various programs and trips for the YMCA. Provides supervision and direction to children and/or adults.

Pay range for this role starts at $16.20-$20.00 per hour, Monday-Friday schedule 7:30-9:30am and 2:30-4:30pm.

Scope of Responsibilities:



  • Transport children/adults to and from program activities and site(s).
  • Makes daily safety inspection of bus/van.
  • Reports to supervisor any conditions on bus/van which needs attention or correction.
  • Oversees conduct of children/adults on bus/van.
  • Follows all driver guidelines and standards.
  • Follows YMCA policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
  • May supervise a group of program participants.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:



  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with.
  • Valid CDL with passenger endorsement highly desirable.


Child Abuse Prevention - Supports the commitment of the YMCA to child abuse prevention by:



  • Report any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members or guests to your supervisor.
  • Follow all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children.
  • Report any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor.
  • Complete all child abuse prevention training as required.
