Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Focus & Communication:



  • Provide friendly and professional customer service, responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving basic order issues.
  • Actively listen to customer needs, accurately capture information, and effectively communicate solutions.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers regarding the status of their orders, including shipping updates and potential delays.
  • Escalate complex issues or requests for changes to leadership for assistance.



Order Management & Fulfillment:



  • Regularly review and process incoming customer orders, ensuring accurate data entry and adherence to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal groups (Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, etc.) to ensure smooth order processing and report any issues for timely resolution.



Systems & Processes:



  • Utilize company systems and tools to process orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Accurately record all relevant details and actions taken regarding customer orders in the designated system.



Learning & Development:



  • Take initial ownership of customer requests, documenting details and ensuring accurate information is gathered.
  • Follow through on assigned tasks, seeking guidance from experienced team members as needed.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Avient's products, services, and processes through continuous learning and hands-on experience.
