We Are Seeking an Account Executive for our Civilian Business!

AIS Account Executives play a crucial role in our federal growth strategy by creating and executing a vision for revenue growth within assigned accounts. They are responsible for client relationship management, account growth planning, and execution, and act as escalation points for client issues. Working closely with service delivery teams, they are integral to the business unit's management team.

Successful Account Executives at AIS build and maintain consultative, value-based relationships with clients, identifying and targeting key personnel for business development and revenue growth. They also maintain a network of teaming and vendor partners to form winning teams for competitive opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets within assigned civilian federal agencies.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within federal agencies.

  • Present and demonstrate our IT professional services solutions to prospective clients, highlighting their value and benefits.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to develop tailored proposals and solutions.

  • Develop quality client deliverables, review content, and provide pricing strategies in support of account delivery and growth.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and federal procurement regulations.

  • Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our services and expand your professional network.

Location

Candidate will be based in the Washington DC Metro area (Virginia, DC, Maryland).

Required for This Opportunity
  • 7 + years of experience selling to federal agencies, with a primary focus on Civilian agencies.

  • Proven track record in selling IT professional services.

  • Strong network of contacts within federal agencies.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
