General Summary

The Digital Product Manager for the Mobile App team will help define, build, and deliver exceptional app experiences that empower pet parents. This role is responsible for owning features of medium-high complexity, contributing to roadmap planning, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure our app meets customer needs and business goals. You will work with a dynamic team to enhance app features, drive engagement, and create seamless, omni-channel experiences for our users.

This position is ideal for a product manager with 2+ years of experience who thrives in an Agile environment and is excited about improving mobile experiences that make life easier for pet parents.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Approximate percentage of time spent)

Feature Development and Execution (70%)

  • Study customer needs, conduct competitive analyses, and define product requirements for mobile app features.
  • Write detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows to guide development teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA to deliver high-quality features on time and within scope.
  • Ensure feature functionality aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable outcomes.

Roadmap Planning and Stakeholder Alignment (20%)

  • Contribute to the product roadmap for the mobile app, ensuring alignment with team and organizational goals.
  • Facilitate discussions with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, operations, and legal, to prioritize features and initiatives.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization (10%)

  • Monitor app usage metrics and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage data and insights to propose optimizations and assess the success of newly launched features.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager in an Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environment.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing digital products, with a strong focus on mobile applications.
  • Proven ability to define product requirements and work collaboratively with engineering and design teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with omni-channel retail, e-commerce, mobile applications, or subscription services.
  • Familiarity with mobile app analytics tools, A/B testing, and user research methods.
  • Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma.
