About this role:

Gartner is currently recruiting for a Sr Analyst. To sustain double-digit growth and exceptional seller productivity, Gartner invests heavily in sales support resources, namely through Sales Specialists and our Sales Development Program. These programs are designed to support sales pipeline acceleration and growth, as well as preparing early career associates into world class sales professionals.

The Sr. Sales Business Analyst of Global GSSO is responsible for supporting these programs' development and expansion by analyzing data, developing insights and providing data-driven recommendations. This work is foundational to how we operate. This is an excellent opportunity to be on a high-impact team, where you can truly develop your skill set and knowledge and bring impact to the business.

What you'll do:

  • Consult with key Gartner business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders across sales and many different GSSO functions.
  • Deliver comprehensive analytics (reports, analytics, and presentations) to diagnose issues, identify risks, and lead conversations to inform and shape decision-making.
  • Develop reporting to assess sales support resource teams' performance against key objectives.
  • Solve problems with structured/unstructured quantitative data and derive key insights that are top priorities for improving Sales Specialist and Sales Development Programs.
  • Develop and refine the methodology to evaluate the economic value of Sales Support resources and partner with GSSO colleagues to propose innovative and data-driven recommendations that drive ROI.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of experience, ideally with focus on Business Analytics and/or Sales Operations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, databases, data visualization, and CRM tools (e.g., MySQL, PowerBI, Salesforce).
  • Familiarity with basic statistical analyses such as regression and quartile analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to breakdown complex business problems and prioritize solving key challenges and risks with supporting data.
  • Experience in presenting insights to senior leaders/executives and storytelling using PowerPoint.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 84,000 USD - 116,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
